झारखंड राज्य 15 नवंबर, 2000 को अस्तित्व में आया। झारखंड शैक्षणिक परिषद की स्थापना के लिए एक अधिनियम झारखंड राज्य विधानमंडल द्वारा अधिनियमित किया गया था और 26.02.2003 को राज्य के माननीय राज्यपाल द्वारा अनुमोदित किया गया था और 04.03.2003 को सरकार द्वारा अधिसूचित किया गया था, जिसे झारखंड शैक्षणिक परिषद अधिनियम 2002 के रूप में जाना जाता है।
